Our Wedding

Our story officially starts with a swipe on Bumble — but unofficially, the real matchmaker was a seven-year-old named Elle. She spotted Rina’s profile, saw “nice boys” and thought Rina was pretty, and asked her dad, “Can I swipe right on this one?”Good thing Jason said yes, because his profile settings were so restricted we probably never would’ve found each other without her!Our first date kicked off with Jason’s now-famous opening line: “So… tell me about your culture.”And that was it — a Scottish man and a Palestinian girl dove straight into the deep end and never came back up. Things moved fast, felt right, and only got better from there.Rina’s boys instantly connected with Jason’s warm, caring personality. Elle was thrilled to gain a bonus mom. After our engagement, our families blended, filling our home with laughter, chaos, comfort, and love.

Turns out all it took was one kid’s instinct, one swipe, and one really good question.
